About Us

IWWEF is a national scale water event that occurs every two years, which fully delegated by Perpamsi. At the early year of progression, few would recognise the event as Nusantara water, which then becomes IWWEF after careful considerations. The first IWWEF was held in Jakarta at Hotel Bidakara, on 18^th January 2011 until 20^th January 2011. The event was officially declared by the Ministry of Public Works representative of that time named Hermanto Dadak. The second IWWEF also held in Jakarta at Hotel Bidakara, on 15^th January 2013 until 17^th January 2013, which was officially declared by Vice President of Indonesia of that time named RI Boediono.

The primary objective of IWWEF is to exhibit many water-related guest speakers to discuss the current difficulties faced by water suppliers. Apart from presentation, IWWEF also emphasise guest speakers to depict their own experience to enlightened the participants that achieving certain goals requires process, patience and the precise helping hand from stakeholders. Therefore, the expo becomes an effective solution as to introduce other stakeholders from within and outside Indonesia. While National Work Conference (Rakernas) Perpamsi also conducted and presented by many water experts from Perpamsi from both regional and national level to discuss current agendas and plans for the future.

IWWEF tend to be visited not less than 5,000 visitors, which comprises of stakeholders, water suppliers, local investors, foreign investors and many more. Additionally, stakeholders such as policy-maker, government official, and experts at both national and international level will also attend this water dedicated event. This emphasise the importance for Perpamsi to preserve the quality of water and wastewater in Indonesia and how it affect the consumers health, welfare and productivity.

IWWEF will be operated by none other than Perpamsi itself with the support of related Ministry and institutions. At the end of the day, we gathered in this event as a form of commitment to improve water suppliers (PDAM) and wastewater suppliers (SPAL) effectiveness across Indonesia.
