IWWEF Overview

Indonesia Water and Wastewater Expo & Forum (IWWEF) is Indonesia’s premier biennial event dedicated to the water and wastewater sector. Fully hosted by PERPAMSI (Indonesia Water Supply Association), this national-scale event serves as a key gathering point for stakeholders in the water industry — from policymakers, regional water utilities (PDAM), government institutions, to private companies, investors, and technology providers.

First held in 2011 under the name Nusantara Water, IWWEF has grown into a flagship event that brings together more than 5,000 participants, both national and international. Its history began at Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta, and was officially inaugurated by government representatives including the Ministry of Public Works and the Vice President of Indonesia.

IWWEF 2025 will feature a dynamic exhibition, international conference, and business matching forum, aiming to promote innovation, facilitate collaboration, and address critical challenges in water and wastewater management.
